• Healthy Beginnings and Eatings

    After Thanksgiving and the many leftover meals, I realized that I need to go back to being HEALTHY! Typically, people have the urge to start going to the gym right after New Year's Day as their new year's resolution. Trust me, I make that resolution every year and every year it doesn't make it to the next season. BUT I am determined to fast-pass the fad and start right now. I have been going to the gym at least four times a week and never forgetting to do some cardio. 
    The number one complication when it comes to sticking to a healthy lifestyle is the food. Most people are thrown off by the illusion that healthy food is distasteful, dry and boring. That's all wrong! The ingredients and the preparation of the food determines how healthy it is. You can't proceed to think that deep fried vegetables is healthy because its vegetables; you are so wrong my friend! Both components of ingredients and prep to be on the same page. Instead of frying the vegetables why not sauté or bake them?

    Although eating right is key to a healthy lifestyle, exercising and taking care of your body is very important too! Results don't happen overnight, so KEEP YOUR HEAD UP and never stop believing in yourself. Remember that you have a beautiful soul!
